Kahsen, Henry 67, of Kea’au, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Chicago and retired as a Steel Worker for UNR Levitt. Funeral services will be held at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home on Monday, January 7, 2013. Visitation will be at 10:30 am, service at 11:00 am, followed by burial at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery 2. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia M. Hockey of Kea’au; sons, Rob (Gretchen) Kahsen of Kea’au, Henry Ernest Kahsen of Chicago; daughters, Rachel Kahsen of Chicago, Heather Kahsen of Illinois; brothers, Charles Bruining of Arkansas, James (Ellen) McVey of Illinois, Jerry (Marj) Kahsen of Illinois, Lawrence (K.C.) Kahsen of Illinois; sisters, Pat Curran of Illinois, Margaret Sweet of Kea’au; 5 grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
